International Cooperation

The University of Copenhagen works to develop its position as an international university by providing researchers and students with excellent opportunities for cooperation and exchange across national borders. The University participates in a range of international networks and alliances and in international education programmes. The University is also represented at a number of institutes and centres worldwide.

Student Exchange

The University of Copenhagen welcomes more than 1,200 international exchange students annually and more than 900 University of Copenhagen students study abroad at our international partner universities.

The University of Copenhagen has student exchange agreements with a large number of European and Nordic universities through the Erasmus and Nordplus programmes. The agreements are anchored at departmental level, and build on strong local academic relations. Furthermore, the University has bilateral exchange agreements with more than 150 reputable institutions world-wide.

Scientist exchange between India and Denmark

Novozymes A/S & The Henning Holck-Larsen Fond offers in cooperation with The University of Copenhagen, The Technical University of Denmark and Aarhus University an Exchange Program to facilitate the exchange of scientists between India and Denmark within the field of biotechnology.
