UCPH at EAIE 2019

EAIE

Once again, we are getting ready for Europe’s largest international higher education conference, EAIE. This year, the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) is taking part in five sessions on best practices and challenges in higher ed. We are looking forward to meeting our international partners in Helsinki, and we hope to see many of you joining our sessions for interesting discussions and knowledge sharing.

Five UCPH sessions with international partners

With the 31st Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition approaching, UCPH is preparing its sessions in cooperation with great international colleagues. The sessions span five quite different topics.

The session on how to shape and sharpen your international portfolio focuses on partnership portfolios, quality assurance and resource management.

Developing internationalised curricula: language, culture and learning explores the ways in which international learning outcomes can be integrated into disciplinary learning, and how institutions can support and plan for it.

How to enable international students to profit from collaboration with local initiatives and stakeholders is about how three universities are working with local community initiatives and what students and universities can gain from them.

Join Mythbusting in STEM mobility: three success stories and learn how to enable STEM students to take mobility programmes.

Finally, the poster session Removing red tape: working smarter with outbound applications offers insights into how UCPH has worked to ease processes and give students clear directions when applying for an exchange.

Focus on climate discussions

At UCPH, we are looking forward to learning more about the climate discussions at this year’s EAIE, and the delegation is pleased to see the increased focus on this topic. We are still in the early stages of navigating the climate issue in terms of mobility, and we are looking forward to getting inspiration for our future work.

Meet us in Helsinki

We would also like to invite you to meet with us outside of the sessions. Find us at the Danish booth J17, or book a meeting with us in advance – we are looking forward to seeing you in Helsinki!
